I found it easier than I imagined to create great apps on my iPhone with this. I created a mileage log for my car in a few hours and got rid of the old app I had been using. Now Im in control of the features and I love it! Id love to have a way to send a text to a mobile phone number stored in FileMaker Go. I hope they implement that soon!

Currently Im having a developer write my app. If initial work is any indication, all of our paperwork will be GONE! We are in the pool service business. We are completely stoked! --Only bug Ive seen so far is keyboard wont dismiss sometimes.

The initial cost is difficult to swallow but the results are worth it

If you ever wanted a development platform with a database backend that can serve data to Macintosh, Windows, web and iOS platforms without any intermediary technologies then youve found the solution. Did I mention you can develop solutions in a fraction of the time when compared to other development platforms. Getting products from the FileMaker family is a no-brainer in my book.

I have developed dozens of apps with FileMaker Pro and Go and Im loving this new version. Using popover buttons, the new themes, and running more complex scripts on the server all add up to professional, beautiful applications.

If this could print and or email multiple pdfs it would be perfect. Make it happen!!

No issues here. Our needs are basic for special event management. Works great! 10 users to a single server. Bandwidth will constrain how fast photos load.

FM Go 14 crashes constantly! If I open the same databases with Go 13 they never crash. Unfortunately I have done my best to take advantage of the new 14 features like SVG button icons and button bars so I really cant use Go 13 without under-hauling my databases. FM Go 14 has lots of problems which makes FM Pro 14 useless until Go is fixed. Please fix it!

I get an error message every time I try to use the app saying changes have been made and it makes no difference what button I hit. Even when I tap "revert" I get the same message and the only way to clear the message is to reinstall the app every time I need to use the iPad. The customer service (or lack there of) that FileMaker provides is a joke. You have to pay $40 per phone call to have someone help you with literally anything. And if you want unlimited calls for one year, youre looking at $900. Not to mention upgrading the software every year or so will cost another $200+ Just a giant pit that you have to continuously throw money at to keep it barely alive.

FileMaker for desktop computers is the best database software ever and FileMaker Go is the best ever for mobile devices.

Flexibility is its strength. I wanted to create a file with a value list that could be edited. It worked on my Mac but did not work on my iPad mini. So I replaced that feature with a table with one text field. It was actually better than using a value list. Now when I observe student teachers, I can write a review, get a signature and file the report before leaving the building. It gets better than that: I can include pictures of the student teacher teaching or student work with the report. A couple of comments on other reviews: I was able to email several pdf files in one letter; I have had no problem with a portal on a layout.

This app offers a great way to access and input data on the go. If you are familiar with building your own databases with FileMaker Pro (desktop version) then getting this app is a no brainer.

This app is a good client for hosted FM solutions with a few considerations. I created a FM file using FM 14. I am using the FM Go 14 app. But it will not connect from a FM 14 Server. Oddly enough, if I upload it to a FM 13 server, Im getting connected and ALL FM 14 features. Weird. So definitely bugs on FM Go 14 to work out. But it gets 4 stars because I have got it work (even though in a unexpected way) and I have three service techs on the road using iPads using it without issue and it has greatly improved my productivity and monitoring of work flow. So great results! But you lose a star because it took a lot of trouble and an unorthodox method to pull it off. If your not very computer savvy you should consider my review a one star, because you probably wont be able to get it working without help. And if you cant use it then its obviously worthless to you. But dont let that stop you from trying it, if you can get it to work, it will make connecting and manipulating your FM data easy!

FileMaker is wonderful. Mobile is not. Simplicity made complicated. xoxo

Its the greatest thing since FMGo 13!

Its incredible to be able to interact with my FileMaker databases anywhere, at any time, from my iPhone!
