- FileMaker Go 14 clients connect to FileMaker Server 14 and FileMaker Server 13. FileMaker Go 14 cannot connect to FileMaker Server 12 and earlier.
- Solution files can be copied or emailed between the device and the desktop. Full two-way sync is not natively supported but can be implemented with additional development.

FileMaker Go 14 app good for

Made an application for the company I work for and we run our fm server and we connect via app to do time entries, inventory. Just work awesome. Only thing needed would to be able to sync from offline to online without the need of a 3rd party app
This app is fantastic for invoicing customers and keeping track of your products and payments. Very simple to use, about 1hour of playing around and you get the hang of it. I have an iPad 3 mini iOS 9.2 and I have no issues. Although I would like to see a email registration and additional customer info ex, email and address
I feel that I can design my own apps, without having to go through Apple assessment commitees. Making backups through DropBox is working well. I would like to be able to connect my files to a FMKR compatible server but I can not afford it. Access to a free server would be fantastic.
FMGo is a game changer. Mobile is the future and the FileMaker platform continues to take steps to ensure it has a place in that future.
Very useful I use the iPad version and the screens almost match my desktop version thank you
I use this for all data entry: invoicing, accounting, inventory, etc. Its easy.

Some bad moments

I still use Filemaker Go 13, even though it is missing. Couple of features. Go14 is much, much slower. Please fix.
The synchronization server problem and necessity. I do not want to connect to the server. I want to use WiFi for synchronization with FileMaker Go program. Im still using Bento. 1 year after the purchase then, support has been canceled. Bento, WiFi feature for synchronizing much better. Waiting for WiFi support for FileMaker Go.
Tried to use it and got disappointed cause its just too complicated imo
As you develop on your desktop for the mobile device, think through how it will be used on the mobile device and test it heavily before deploying. It wont mean you wont have to tweak it, but it will reduce the number of iterations.
Filemaker did a great job upgrading this Filemaker Go app. Very polished looking. Looking forward to using the new Filemaker 14 Advanced software.
Loads but gets stuck at the main window. Then it quits and asks for my ID. HUH?!?! Sorry guys, ya botched it! iPhone6. It also CRASHED my iPad 4... No love.
